Overview
This is the all-new BMW 2-series Coupe. While its classic cab-rearward silhouette is easily recognizable as a BMW 2-series, it now features sharper lines. Its wide flared front fenders and rear haunches gives the new 2 a more muscular appearance. Inside, it features a more premium tech-filled interior with a dashboard design similar to the one found in the 3 and 4 series.
The new 2-Series Coupe is offered with two gasoline engine options, a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four which makes 156hp and 250Nm of torque, and a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline-six which produces 374hp and 500Nm of torque. All powerplants are paired to an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard on four-pot variant, while all-wheel drive is standard on the straight-six variant.
M2
Sitting at the top of the 2 Series Coupe range is the high-performance all-wheel drive M2 variant. It's powered by a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline-six which produces 453hp and 550Nm of torque. The M2 is available in the standard "Pure" trim and the "Carbon" trim which comes with carbon fiber parts inside and out as well as a higher top speed.
