Overview
The BMW XM is the German carmaker's large performance SAV. It is the brand's first hybrid M car (crossover SUV). It adopts BMW's new aggressive design language. Up front it gets a huge kidney grille and a split headlight layout, a styling feature seen in high-end models of the German carmaker. Inside its pure modern BMW with its driver-oriented cockpit.
Powering the XM is a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 gasoline mill paired to a 194hp electric motor. The hybrid powerplant's total system output is 644hp and 800Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed M Steptronic Transmission. The XM can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in only 4.3 seconds. Its top speed is 250km/h.
