The Honda BR-V, the Japanese carmaker's second entry into the hot crossover B-segment. First introduced in the Philippine market in 2016, the BR-V or Bold Runabout Vehicle sets itself apart from other sub-compact CUVs by having a three-row seating configuration. Honda was able to do this by using its popular seven-seater Mobilio subcompact MPV as a starting point. This combines the best of both worlds, a versatile people mover and a high-ridding SUV with a command view driving position. 

All-new for the 2023 model year, the second gen BR-V takes things a step further. No longer based on an MPV, it now features a more upright windshield and a longer hood for that more familiar SUV shape. Despite its new look and shape, the Japanese carmaker claims it still features MPV comfort.  

Underneath the all-new BR-V’s hood is Honda's 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC inline-4 gasoline mill which puts out 119 hp @ 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque @ 4,300 rpm. Power is sent to the front wheels either through a six-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission. The range-topping VX variant gets paddle shifters for a sportier driving experience.

For safety, all Honda BR-V variants have front dual-airbags and side airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist. The VX variant gets standard curtain airbags.
