The 2023 Staria is the new generation Hyundai van. It offers distinctive styling to set it apart from the traditional van. It features a futuristic streamlined profile the Korean carmaker calls "one-curve silhouette", this is complimented by its large windows. Up front it features a large grille flanked by low-set headlights. Moving up, it has unique slim horizontal DRLs. Inside, the futuristic theme continues with its concept car-like dashboard that features a high-mounted digital cluster and a floating infotainment touchscreen. 

All Philippine spec Staria variants are powered by a 2.2-liter CRDi VGT diesel mill which puts out 175hp and 430Nm of torque. This powerplant is mated either to a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic tranny. All-wheel drive is standard on the range-topping Premium variant, the rest of the variants are front-wheel drive.
