The S2 is JAC's entry into the hot subcompact SUV segment. It's a modern well-equipped little ute with styling reminicent of a some Korean and European brands. For 2021, it receives some styling updates to keep it looking fresh. The grille, front bumper, rear bumper foglights, headlights, taillights and alloy wheels have been restyled. Inside, it gets an updated gauge cluster, a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other changes include seats with red contrast stitching.

Under its hood is a 1.5-liter VVT gasoline inline-4 engine, it produces 111 HP and 146 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels either through a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission.
