This is the new Wrangler JL, it may just look like a refresh of the outgoing JK model but it is in fact an actual all-new model. Being the American brand's iconic model, its designers and engineers were careful to keep the traditional Jeep heritage. The body-on-frame construction and front & rear live axle suspension are retained. The new Wrangler is over 90kg lighter than the model it replaces.

Like before, the all-new Wrangler is available as a short-wheelbase 2-door (4-seater) and as a long-wheelbase 4-door Unlimited (5-seater).

All Philippine spec Wrangler variants come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 mill which produces 268hp and 400Nm of torque. This motor is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is standard on all variants.
