The Velar is the youngest model in the Range Rover family. It fills the spot between the compact Evoque and the large Range Rover models.  While still recognizable as a Range Rover, the Velar's styling is sleeker than its bigger stablemates. Its flush door handles which pop out make this premium SUV look concept car-like. Inside it's the same story, the dashboard layout is familiar but done in a neater more integrated way. For 2024, it gets a mild refresh to keep its styling aligned with other new Range Rover models. Inside, it gets upgraded materials and a new infotainment system with a larger screen.

Under its hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 gasoline mill which produces 247hp and 365Nm of torque, this powerplant is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. All Wheel Drive with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics comes as standard.
