The CX-3 is Mazda's entry into the hot and fast growing sub-compact crossover SUV segment. This little CUV is wrapped in the Japanese brand's now familiar "Kodo" design language; sporty styling to match its sporty hot hatch soul. It received a minor refresh for the 2019 model year, updates include a new grille and fog light bezel. Its interior also received some upgrades like a redesigned center console that now features an electronic parking brake and a front center armrest. Rear passengers now get rear cupholders.

For 2023, the CX-3 range has been trimmed down to just the Sport variant.

For 2024 the Sport variant gains upgraded trim and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside it gets 10-way power adjustable driver's seats, and wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Other standard features include a 360-degree camera, and front & rear parking sensors.

Under the hood is a 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G gasoline engine which produces 148hp and 195Nm of torque. This is mated to a six-speed Skyactiv-Drive automatic transmission. i-Stop automatic stop-start system is standard.
