The Japanese carmaker's big SUV features the brand's KODO design treatment, this means stylish and elegant flowing lines. Inside, you're greeted by its roomy well-appointed interior which features the now-familiar euro-inspired premium looking Mazda dashboard. For 2022, the CX-9 gets a revised grille, added kit, and new variants.

The CX-9 is powered by a 2.5-liter Skyactiv-turbo which produces 227hp and 420Nm of torque. This motor is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. It can be had with either front-wheel drive (Black Edition) or all-wheel drive (Exclusive). G-Vectoring Control Plus, the brand’s dynamic control tech now comes as standard.
