The all-new GT is MG's new compact sports sedan. Like its more affordable MG 5 sibling, the GT is a compact-sized sedan priced like a subcompact sedan.  The GT features a sleek curvy exterior and sporty fastback profile. Up front it features a low wide "3D Digital Flame Grille", this is flanked by swept back LED headlights. It features sculpted sides and prominent hips. At the rear it has an integrated ducktail spoiler and "3D LED Race Track Taillamps". Inside it features sporty cockpit with a 12.3-inch "Virtual instrument Cluster", and a floating tablet-style 10-inch infotainment touchscreen.

Two engine options are offered on the MG GT, a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter mill which puts out 111hp and 150Nm of torque, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged unit which pumps out 159hp and 250Nm of torque. The base NA engine is paired to an eight-speed intelligent continuously variable transmission with manual mode, the boosted powerplant is mated to seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
