The HS is MG's new entry into the compact SUV segment. It features sleek sporty design language. The front is dominated by the brand's large "Stardust Grille,” this is flanked by slim swept-back headlights. It has clean sides devoid of sharp creases. At the back, it gets twin exhaust tips. Matt Silver front and rear faux skid plates add a rugged sporty touch. Inside, the sporty curvy theme continues. All variants get a tablet-style floating 10" touchscreen. The range-topping Trophy variants gets a fully digital 12.3" instrument cluster.

Powering the new HS is MG's 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 gasoline mill which produces 167 HP and 250 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
