Overview
The Lite Ace returns as a commercial van and pickup. Unlike its flat-front cab-over predecessor sold here in the 90s, the latest version sports a semi-cab-over-engine-layout with a short nose. Up front it has MacPherson strut front suspension, at the rear it has a live axle with coil springs on the panel van variant, and leaf springs on the pickup variant. In the safety department, it comes with dual airbags and ABS on all variants. The panel van gets electronic stability control as standard.
Powering the new Lite Ace is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine which puts out 97hp and 134Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
