The Yaris Cross is Toyota's new 2-row subcompact SUV, it slots between the smaller Raize and the bigger Corolla Cross. Up front it gets Toyota's large hexagonal SUV grille which is flanked by slim swept-back headlights, moving on to the sides, it gets squarish wheel openings for the=at rugged SUV look. At the back it gets angular horizontal taillights. 

Two gasoline engines are offered on the front-wheel drive-only Yaris Cross, a 105hp naturally aspirated 1.5-liter inline-4 mill, and a 90hp naturally aspirated 1.5-liter inline-4 Atkinson Cycle powerplant paired to a 79hp electric motor. All variants come standard with a continuously variable transmission.

Two tone paint ("Attitude Black Mica" roof) is standard on the top 1.5 S HEV variant and is a P10,000 option on the 1.5 V variant.
