Overview
The Zenix is Toyota's new generation MPV. Unlike the body-on-frame Innova, the new Zenix is built on the Japanese brand's front-wheel drive TNGA platform. Although the new Zenix is an MPV, it features crossover SUV-inspired styling. Inside, it gets a modern instrument panel reminiscent of the brand's crossovers and SUVs. All variants get second row captain seats. The Q Hybrid variant adds power Ottoman and power recline functions.
The Zenix is available with two engine options, a 2.0-liter M20A-FKS gasoline mill which produces 172hp and 205Nm of torque, and a 2.0-liter M20A-FXS gasoline unit mated to an electric motor, it puts out a total system output of 183hp. Both powerplants are paired to a continuously variable transmission.
